Okay, so I'm many many years from "Grandma" status, however, was called "Grandma Swills" by a bunch of my university friends, as I always had a pair of needles in my hands!

I learned to knit from my Nana (grandma) when I was about 7 or 8 years old... young enough to still think Barbies were cool, as I would knit them blankets for their beds!

I've been knitting ever since, and going from patterns my Nana gave me, some passed on from friends, some online, and most recently ones I have created on my own!

Update (Sept. 2011): I also crochet now. I feel like I'm cheating on knitting, but it happened. ;)
