I was just reading a new friend's blog. She's also a knitter and was talking about how she had to make a rule for herself that she must finish one project before starting another. I don't think I could ever commit to that rule. The reason? I have what I call "Knitting Attention Deficit Disorder".
I love knitting. That's no surprise. But if I work on ONE project for too long, it sometimes starts to feel tedious... ESPECIALLY if it's a huge project like my toned tiles afghan!
Switching things up with other projects is what keeps things interesting!
What are on my needles now? A ribbed scarf, mitered squares for a baby blanket, a strawberry baby hat, and a circular shrug sweater!
Yes, this means that it takes me long to complete each individual project, but it also prevents me from getting bored with any one project.
Tired of one project? Take a break and start another. PROBLEM SOLVED! :)
